Tycho shares sweeping new single “Division” — listen

We haven’t heard much from Tycho, née Scott Hansen, since 2014’s Awake LP. He dropped a remix collection earlier this year, but fresh tunes have been nonexistent. That changes today with the release of his sweeping new single, “Division”.

The track is essentially summer painted in a 7/8 time signature. Colors weave intricately together through revelatory synths ponging back and forth and the rush of energetic, neo-jazz percussion. Take a listen to “Division” below.
