Warner Bros. did not hold back at this year’s Comic Con. The studio used its Saturday panel to debut trailers for a number of upcoming big-budget films, including Wonder Woman, Justice League, Kong: Skull Island, and Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur. At the conclusion of its event, WB offered a new, extended look at its Harry Potter prequel, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Set in the year 1926, Fantastic Beasts tells the tale of magizoologist Newt Scamander (played by Eddie Redmayne) who travels to New York City to study all the magical creatures of the wizarding world. However, the trip proves disastrous after Newt’s case is misplaced and some of his fantastic beasts escape.

Harry Potter creator JK Rowling wrote the film herself, the first time she’s done so. David Yates served as director. Along with Redmayne, the Fantastic Beasts cast includes Katherine WaterstonAlison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrell, Jenn Murray, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo, Gemma Chan, and newcomer Faith Wood-Blagrove.
