“I got two versions. I got twooo versions…” Frank Ocean cryptically wrote on his Tumblr page last April.
Now, months later, the mystery seems to be solved. It appears that Ocean was referencing his two new studio albums. The first, a visual project called Endless, arrived Friday. The second will follow later this weekend, according to a report from Rolling Stone.
While the title of the second album has yet to be revealed, it won’t be Boys Don’t Cry. Though Ocean has teased that title for well over a year, Rolling Stone notes that he’s opted for an “alternate title.”
Both albums follow Ocean’s Grammy-nominated major label debut, channel ORANGE, which was released in 2012.
