It’s hard to believe that 14 years have passed since Gore Verbinski’s stellar, swanky remake of The Ring. But alas, here we are: a little older, a little wiser, and a little more cynical, which is why we’re not exactly running to see this sequel.
Then again, we’ve pretty much already seen it. As usual, the trailer lets slip way too many details, even going through all the scares of the infamous seven days. Let’s just say, Naomi Watts had it easy compared to Matilda Lutz here.

Directed by F. Javier Gutiérrez, the second sequel in the series was written by three people and stars a few no-names and that guy from The Big Bang Theory, aka Johnny Galecki. But hey, it’s out October 28th and … um, Halloween.
