Dave Grohl joins Prophets of Rage for another kick-ass live cover of MC5’s “Kick Out the Jams” — watch

Foo Fighters frontman joined the already formidable supergroup onstage at LA’s Forum

Prophets of Rage — the hard-rocking behemoth featuring members of Rage Against the Machine, Cypress Hill, and Public Enemy — have really embraced the whole “supergroup” mentality on this summer’s Make America Rage Against Tour, so it’s no surprise that they brought the ruckus to last week’s homecoming show at The Forum in Inglewood, CA. They also brought a special guest: Dave Grohl.

The Foo Fighters frontman joined the Prophets onstage to play guitar and scream along to “Kick Out the Jams”. This is the second time he’s crashed their set to cover the MC5 classic, with the first coming in Toronto during a gig that was streamed live online by Live Nation TV. This time around, a fan named Brian James caught video of the proceedings, including a blistering guitar face-off between Grohl and Tom Morello.

    Make America Rage Again, indeed.
