The feline internet sensation known as Grumpy Cat (real name Tardar Sauce) will go from the computer screen to the Broadway stage on Friday, September 30th, when she’ll join the cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Cats for a special production.

As a spokesman for the show told the Associated Press, Grumpy Cat “will be worked into the end of the show and will become an honorary Jellicle Cat,” meaning she probably won’t be expected to belt out any solos.

Her appearance will be historic (we’re using that word loosely) in the sense that she’ll be the first-ever actual cat to join the cast of the long-running Broadway musical, which returned this summer for a run at the Neil Simon Theater.
