Lady Gaga’s “Perfect Illusion” video premieres online — watch

Featuring appearances from Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, Mark Ronson, and Bloodpop

Lady Gaga’s video for her new single “Perfect Illusion” premiered Tuesday night during the season premiere episode of FOX’s Scream Queens. The track, which serves as the lead single for her forthcoming Joanne LP, features Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme on guitar along with contributions and production from Tame Impala’s Kevin ParkerMark Ronson, and Grimes collaborator Bloodpop.

Parker, Ronson, and Bloodpop all show up in the song’s accompanying video, playing the part of Gaga’s backing band. With Ronson on guitar, Parker pounding drums, and Bloodpop handling bass, Gaga throws a thrashing concert in the middle of the desert. It’s all quick cuts and shaky camera work, making it feel like you’re getting bounced around by fellow rowdy partiers. Watch above.

Joanne is due out October 21st. It also features Florence and the Machine, Beck, and Father John Misty.
