It’s been almost four years since we first fell for MØ. In that time — which has seen the Danish singer rise to the top of the charts alongside Justin Bieber and Major Lazer — she’s still managed to stay true to her roots of quirky yet sincere enthusiasm and ace pop hooks. Case in point: Tuesday night’s appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
The CoSigned musician delivered her 2016 single “Final Song” while sporting black platform sneakers, a blood-red silken dress, a leather jacket, and a dog collar choker. Though she chose not to bounce about on stage, there was a fire in MØ’s eyes that spoke volumes, and appropriately so. Previously, she described the track as one about “reconnecting with your inner strength. With your inner glow, passion, spirit animal, whatever – the force that keeps us going and doing what we love.”
