To coincide with the 25th anniversary of their first and only album, Temple of the Dog are embarking on their first-ever tour. Featuring Chris Cornell, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, Mike McCready, and Matt Cameron, the 90s grunge supergroup performed their first gig at Philadelphia’s Tower Theater on Friday night. Their 23-song, two encore sets mixed songs from their recently reissued self-titled LP along with tracks by Ament and Gossard’s other pre-Pearl Jam supergroup, Mother Love Bone, and covers of The Cure, Led Zeppelin, and David Bowie.
