This week, R&B crooner Abel Tesfaye, a.k.a. The Weeknd, returns with his new album Starboy. It’s now available to stream on all the usual platforms; subscribers of Apple Music can listen below.
Starboy marks The Weeknd’s third studio album to date following last year’s Beauty Behind the Madness and 2013’s Kiss Land. Spanning 18 tracks, his latest effort boasts high-profile collaborations from Daft Punk, Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey, and Future.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Tesfaye said Starboy owes “a thousand percent” of its inspiration to David Bowie and Prince. The album’s title is even a homage to Bowie’s Starman persona.
