Tegan and Sara, Moby, Jenny Lewis, more perform from their beds for Bedstock Festival — watch

Annual online event's mission is to bring "the healing power of music" to kids and teens

As it does every year, #GivingTuesday (November 29th) marks the launch of Bedstock, an annual “music festival” in which artists turn their bedrooms into mini makeshift venues. The online event is spearheaded by MyMusicRx, a Children’s Cancer Association program whose mission is to deliver “the healing power of music” to kids and teens.

Previously, we saw Passion Pit frontman Michael Angelakos do an acoustic version of “Sleepyhead” for the festival’s young viewers. For this year’s installment, acts like Tegan and Sara, Moby, Jenny Lewis, Alessia Cara, Warpaint, and Norah Jones have submitted their own cozy, “bedroom”-style renditions of original songs. Feline internet sensation Lil Bub also gets in on the fun by being her adorable self, as does Colin Meloy of The Decemberists, who reads a Dr. Seuss story aloud. Cue the awws.

Check out some of the Bedstock performances below.
