The Weeknd shares action-packed short film Mania — watch

Featuring snippets of his Kendrick Lamar and Future collaborations

The Weeknd’s Starboy album doesn’t arrive until Friday, but fans can get a sneak peak at some of its tracks via his glossy new short film Mania.

Directed by past collaborator Grant Singer, the 12-minute project sees the R&B crooner picking up where he left off in his “Starboy” music video. There are fast cars, models like Anais Mali, strobe light lit clubby moments, and even a gory murder scene. (Yes, that is blood all over Abel Tesfaye’s face up above.)

Among the Starboy songs that surface throughout the visual: the previously unreleased Kendrick Lamar-featuring “Sidewalks” and the Future-aided “All I Know”, plus the Lana Del Rey-assisted “Party Monster” and the Daft Punk collab “I Feel It Coming”.
