Coheed and Cambria will perform their smash third album, 2005’s Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness, in full on an upcoming stretch of spring tour dates. Dubbed The NEVERENDER GAIBSIV tour, the US trek will feature opening support from The Dear Hunter.

Coinciding with the news, Coheed frontman Claudio Sanchez has also announced he’s written a new comic book series based on Good Apollo. The 12-issue run is the latest entry in BOOM! Studios’ The Armory Wars, a loose adaptation of the sci-fi concept storyline followed through most of Coheed and Cambria’s records. As reported by CBR, the first issue of The Armory Wars: Good Apollo will ship this April.

Perhaps not coincidentally, The Dear Hunter also recently revealed a comic adaptation of their own concept album series, the Act hexology. The Act I: The Lake South, the River North graphic novel is currently for sale via Cave and Canary Goods.
