Drew Carey’s 11-year-old son was the boy who famously started anti-Trump bonfire

"Screw our president!" Connor told news reporters during a protest last week

Across the country, massive protests erupted last week on the eve of Donald Trump’s inauguration. One in Washington, DC in particular went viral as it was accompanied by a bonfire set by a young boy named Connor. When reporters asked why he’d done such a thing, Connor — who donned the letter “I” on his sleeve in reference to the illegitimate POTUS — awesomely and very proudly declared: “Cause I felt like it … Screw our president!”

Now, TMZ has uncovered the identity of the young hero, and it’s none other than Drew Carey’s 11-year-old son. “A source close to Drew tells us Connor got caught up in the emotions of the crowd around him, and he was in hot water afterward,” TMZ write. “We’re told Drew and Connor’s mom were upset about how he expressed himself to the reporter, and talked to him about his language.”

Drew’s far, far from a controversial TV personality, but I would think he’d appreciate his son’s outspokenness and passion for politics. You’ve got my vote, Connor.
