Foxygen enlisted the help of a 40-plus-piece symphony orchestra for their latest album, Hang. They brought along a portion of that ensemble — a string quartet and brass section — to their gig on Conan Wednesday, resulting in a rousing, full-bodied performance of “Follow the Leader”. Between the psychedelic pop ~~posi vibes~~ and the group’s attire, one could also easily mistake the affair for a ’70s-era American Bandstand jam session. Check out the replay above.
