St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark) recently paid a visit to the Sooo Many White Guys podcast and engaged in a candid, often hilarious interview with host and comedian Phoebe Robinson (2 Dope Queens). The two bonded over their shared birthday and mutual love of David Bowie, and Robinson even got St. Vincent to share a story about how she once went to a male strip club in a turtleneck and got scammed into paying double for a lap dance.
The rest of the interview is just as revealing, with St. Vincent sharing some of her early influences (“I started playing guitar because I wanted to be Eddie Vedder”) and revealing that nobody actually poops on tour busses.
