On January 27th, the ever-profilic garage rocker Ty Segall will release his new, self-titled album through Drag City Records. In anticipation, it’s streaming in full beow via NPR.

His ninth solo effort to date follows last year’s Emotional Mugger and the debut record from his garage punk side-project GØGGS. “Transparency is the name of the game,” according to the album’s press release, and that’s exactly what this album offers, what with the heavy rock of “Break A Guitar” to the behind-the-music approach of “Papers” to the heartfelt wails of “Orange Color Queen”.
