Iggy Pop returned last week with new album Free, which Consequence of Sound described as an “intriguing… change of course” for the Godfather of Punk. To promote his 18th (!) solo record, Pop swung by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday to dole out one of its singles, the sultry, jazz-infused “James Bond”. For the performance, he was accompanied by Leron Thomas, Noveller, and The Roots. Catch the replay below.

Free follows 2016’s Post Pop DepressionThe releases don’t stop for the former Stooges vocalist, however. On September 26th, he’ll issue a new book titled ‘Til Wrong Feels Right, which finds the rocker reflecting on his legacy.
