This week, Tekashi 6ix9ine is in court testifying against two members of the Nine Treys gang, who he says kidnapped, robbed, and beat him in July 2018. Now, dashcam footage of the alleged kidnapping has now been released by the Southern District of New York.

The video purportedly shows Tekashi 6ix9ine’s vehicle being stopped by Anthony “Harv” Ellison and an associate named Sha. When 6ix9ine initially refuses to exit, Ellison threatens to shoot him. 6ix9ine is eventually forced out of the vehicle and is escorted away by Ellison and Sha. It was at this point that 6ix9ine says he was beaten. Ellison and Sha then drove 6ix9ine to his home, where they robbed him of $750,000 in jewelry and $20,000 in cash. As a result of his injuries, 6ix9ine was briefly hospitalized.

The video goes on to show the driver of 6ix9ine’s vehicle, his brother Jorge Rivera, using OnStar to contact police. Eventually Rivera comes across a police cruiser and informs an officer of his brother’s kidnapping.

Prosecutors contend that Ellison and another Nine Treys gang member, Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack, orchestrated 6ix9ine’s kidnapping in retaliation of the rapper’s decision to fire Ellison as his bodyguard.

Tekashi 6ix9ine has agreed to cooperate with prosecutors and testify against Ellison and Mack after pleading guilty to his own charges involving racketeering, firearm possession, drug trafficking, and conspiracy to commit murder.
