Bauhaus have canceled the remainder of their North American tour so that frontman Peter Murphy can enter a rehabilitation facility to “attend to his health and well-being.”
After originally reuniting in 2019, the veteran goth-rock band had recently embarked on their first extended North American tour in 16 years. They played a series of west coast shows in May — including a thrilling tour kick-off in Portland — as well as a string of dates in the UK and Europe over the summer. Bauhaus had been set to return to America for a fall leg beginning in early September, but those concerts have now been canceled.
Ticket refunds will be available at the point of purchase.
A press release announcing the tour’s cancelation gave no indication as to whether the dates will eventually be rescheduled.
