Heather Kaplan

Photographer Heather Kaplan doesn't like to get fancy in post production. She takes a "what you see is what you get" approach to concert photography, ensuring that viewers truly get a sense of being at the show...not a lesson in Photoshop 101. This mantra has served her well over the past four years working with Consequence of Sound, except in situations when there are strobe lights. Heather graduated from Northwestern University with degrees in both Economics and Art History, which strangely led her down the career paths of advertising and music. In her spare time, Heather enjoys cooking chili, making spreadsheets, and creating 3D-printed models of her head.
