This sixth edition of Pa’l Norte, taking place at the Fundidora Park in Monterrey, Mexico, hosts over 75 artists crossing all genres and styles. In 2005 Monterrey was ranked one of the safest cities in Mexico. However from 2008 to 2011, the city experienced extreme violence related to turf battles between warring drug cartels, which sadly put a halt to nearly all nightlife activities and club life. Thankfully, by the end of 2012 the city became safe to travel day and night again, and so in November of 2012, P’al Norte was born to bring a big party back to Monterrey reuniting the biggest acts from around the globe, and especially Latin America, connecting the die hard music loving community of Monterrey. Since the first edition, it’s been a sold out event, and has recently evolved into a two day festival and widely considering one of the most important music festivals in Latin America.
