Sunset Junction Street Fair 2011

“A quintessentially Silver Lake rite of summer since 1980, this street fair is a see-and-be-seen promenade of diversity Latino families, leather daddies with cell phones, punks pushing strollers, drag queens and Westsiders curious about all the fuss. Three live music stages provide much of the energy, where local heroes like Mike Watt, Extra Fancy and Candye Kane perform back-to-back sets. Midway rides and an open-air disco add to the fun.
